Can you receive a medical waiver for a corneal erosion for the Air Force?

I recently decided to go into the air force. A couple months ago I was diagnosed with a corneal erosion which seems to be getting better. I saw that it was an excluding condition, but have seen that some people can receive medical waivers for certain conditions. I'm just trying to see if I'm wasting my time even trying to go in if I am just going to be banned for my eye.
