The law fingerprints found at 459b location?

two detectives came to my house and told me they had found my fingerprint at disclosed location . I asked them if they were going to arrest me ,they said no we are not going to arrest at this time. could they be bluffing and just trying to get answers or do they have the proof. they are talking about also do you think there might be and informant in this case oh i do have a case number.
