Are tattoos a bad idea??

im 20 and love being outside, and want a tattoo sleeve. but im kinda about putting sunscreen on my tattoo i have now on my inner bicep, so if i had a sleeve i'd be puttin sunscreen on my whole arm like every time im in the sun. am i overreacting???
