Why didn't FDR do anything for "tea partiers" in 1930s Stalin Russia?

Well one reason was the US was a pacifist nation at the time (Kind of like today) where it was more important for the US to not get involved and spread their "imperialism" than the lives of millions of people. And people wonder why I am concerned with the current president and the attitude of his followers.
