What can be done to make a woman's 'first time' as special as possible?

So I have a friend who has made it to 19 without falling to the temptations of premarital . She may want to change that now and besides the 'wait till your married advice' what can I tell her? My wife was not a virgin and only suggests that her time be 'special'. So what would make it 'special'?
