Fiance's family too overbearing?

Do I have the right to be pissed off that my future in-laws are too overbearing? Amongst other things which have occured, this evening I'm sitting along because my 25 year old fiance has to wait for his 20 year old sister to come home before mid-night while the parents are out. He said he doesn't want to hear it that he's already confronted his parents about it. I don't get it, once we're married next year am I supposed to be ok with him going home to watch his "baby" sister?????? Uggghhhh!!!! His parents say its not right for his 20 year old sister to be alone at night...is there something wrong with me that I don't understand this?

What attire for horse presentation: English or Western?

I would go with English simply because whoever decided that you needed to wear a vest and shirt for western has obviously not seen any current western style/show trends. Wearing a vest would make you look outdated--not the look you want to have while giving a presentation and trying to appear knowledgeable. Sounds like you're closer to having an English outfit, anyway--all you lack is a pair of breeches for your friend. You can get a cheap pair for $20-30 in most catalogs or I'm sure she can borrow some from somebody for just one competition--especially since she's not riding in them and therefore won't be getting them dirty or ruining them.

Help, trying to loose weight with unsupportive family?

well...i was wondering how to go about changing my diet and exercise program and get it back in order with what i call the devil food advocates and lazy incorperated...i currently spend my summers with by bf's grandparents...they love me. i help them out with things elderly have difficulty with durring that time and they are really really nice people...but they encourage overstuffing urself, they have poor eating habbits and do not exercise regularly...and encourage me to stay inside and sit on my bum with them and come up with a whole bumch of excuses to keep me in. they literally do believe that u should eat a lot for every meal and that the hearty stuff is mashed potatoes with er, white bread, fatty and breaded meats, and veggies cooked in er and sweats up the river...i do get foods i like, which are a lot healthier by the way...but i also have huge huge sweet tooth...i literally think im addicted to sugars and to top it off im an eskimo...meaning i gain much more easily than ud ever think lol like a few slices a pizza and some coke will put on 2 pounds literally in a week...they think im skinny and im definately not lol...their idea of healthy weight is what ud concider right at obese or very overweight...its really quite silly, but they also think im anorexic because i do eat a lot less then them...usually i just have a plate for a meal...i was just wondering, how in the heck am i supposed to stick to a diet and exercise program with out hurting their feelings too badly and getting shunned...as i do want to keep a good impression with his family...for those in difficult situations to modify diet and exercise, how do u keep to it up?...ive never had this problem with my family so i dont know how to deal with it. You could find examples of famous hearing impaired people and show them how they can do things just like everyone else just maybe a little differently. If you are able to do physical activities. Blindfold the children and see if they can do a simple task. Do I have tonsillitis or quincy or do I need my tonsils removed?

Wednesday night I was fine and through the day but when I woke up on thursday morning, my left tonsil was red and had two small white dots on them. As the day got on I didn't eat much until I decided I would have to have something just to keep energy but I was sick for the rest of the day and night (3pm-10pm) and most of the time it was just water which I was drinking. Then on friday after college I went to a pharmacy to get throat spray as my throat was hurting and they give me a spray called "Difflam" and said to use it over the weekend to see if it helps. Friend keeps saying something after I told her it hurt my feelings?

My friend whom I've known for a long time has hurt my feelings. We were discussing stuff one day and we were on the subject of popular artists. I said I didn't like over autotuned mainstream music. It just wasn't my style. I don't like the sound of autotune. Well, now ever since she's grown closer to another friend who apparently makes fun of hipsters; which they think I am because I don't like many popular bands or games. She's been saying "That's too mainstream" constantly to me. She said her friend and her make fun of hipsters. So, I felt sort of annoyed at first. I hoped she'd stop mocking me. After a few days of her saying it. I told her it was bothering me, and wasn't funny. I asked her politely to quit. She said she wouldn't because even if it hurts someone else, because she didn't mean it to be taken that way. She also told me to lighten up. I felt like I was brushed off, and my feelings were irrelevant. She said she cared about my feelings, but she still said she'd keep saying it. I asked her if she really did care, and I got no response. It's not so much the "it's too mainstream" thing that's bothering me now. It's that she doesn't care about how I feel. Also, she constantly goes "Your mom." I mean, CONSTANTLY. My mom was in the hospital after getting in a car wreck which I told her about, and that's all she kept saying when I was talking. I was sorta upset at this too because my mom had broke her back and could barely walk without crying. I just thought it was uncalled for; even her friend who makes fun of hipsters told her it was. A year ago this girl also gave my phone number away to a guy I didn't know, had him text me, he knew my name, I was worried and told her about it, she said "Creepy. I wouldn't tell your mom about it." I knew that sounded fishy. I told my mom some random guy was texting my phone, and I was terrified that he knew where I lived. (I never gave my number to anyone but my friends.) At one point I was crying, and she finally admitted she gave it away. The next few days, she called me a for no reason, and kept bothering me online. She even hacked my online account. Is this person someone I should be friends with or not? I'd hate to end our 7 year friendship, but she keeps doing things to hurt me. She hardly ever talks to me anymore and when she does it's "that's too mainstream" or "your mom." She's always with her new friends, and doing what they want to do. I'm rarely invited anymore. I'm sick of her not listening to me. Again, it's not so much her saying "It's too mainstream" it's the fact she won't stop saying something to me after I told her it was annoying, and could be taken as mocking. I'm afraid she'll give my personal details away again too. Should I keep her as a friend?

I Had a recent car accident which I believe I was not at fault, need some help.....?

I was recently driving home on the highway and there was something in the middle of my lane, looked like a ladder or something of that nature. I didnt have time to swerve into the other lane because it would of been unsafe and was boxed in. I hit the object and spun out of control causing me to do a 360 in the middle of the highway. The only damage I had was to the front bumper from the original impact, no other cars hit me and i avoided the median. I'm I at fault wit my insurance company since I was the only car involved? can I sue the highway department for not keeping the lanes cleared? the damage is approx. 1300 and my deductible is 1000, should i claim it? I know this is kind of early, but i was going to have a 1'' binder for each cl in high school. Each binder would have a folder, notebook, and some loose leaf paper in the back. I feel like I'm being bullied by my boss, what should I do?

I've been working for a company for about 6 or 7 months now. When I first started, things were great. I got along well with my boss and co workers. Well, eventually, some people started picking on me, my boss included, about a blond moment that I had. I was okay with it. I mean, it was definitely not one of my most intelligent moments. After a while though, my boss started picking on me more. He put steaksauce in my drink while I wasn't looking. He'd call me ditzy or a dumb blond in front of my co workers. It bothered me, but I'd always just laugh along so I wouldn't look like a "Debbie Downer". Then, I got into a disagreement with his bestfriend, who is an employee just like me, and all of a sudden I started losing shifts. I heard that my boss's friend may be writing the schedules for him, so I got pretty upset. Things at work started getting pretty frustrating for me, especially now since, fun and joking aside, my money (shifts) were being taken from me. One night I was standing at a computer printing out a guests check, and he sprayed computer Duster into my ear so close that I believe he slightly perforated my eardrum, because it was sore for 3 days afterward. I think that he heard about how upset I was, and I even threatened to tell our corporate managers because I don't have medical insurance and couldn't afford to see a doctor. My boss started critiquing everything I did. I do my job well. I'm on time, I work even when the restaurant isn't busy. I clean and detail things, without being asked. I have open availability, I don't request off. I've worked every single Sunday since I've started, even though I was promised that Sunday shifts were rotated (My churches services are one of a kind and only available during evenings, when I'm scheduled) , but I don't complain about it, because I'm afraid it will effect my other shifts. He recently changed my schedule to only 3 nights a week. He took away my Friday and Saturday night, which are the most busy nights of the week. I'm the only person he has done this to for over 3 weeks in a row now. I've been trying to pick up shifts for other employees, which was working out for me for a while, until one Saturday when I was on call, he told me he didn't need me. Well, another employee offered me his shift, and I called to ask if it was okay for me to work for that employee, and he shouted at me and told me that he didn't need me, and I wasn't allowed to work, then hung up on me. He then, called me back 10 minutes later threatening my job because he said "I think I'm running some kind of show". It's absolutely ridiculous. The last shift I worked with him. My guests bill needed some attention, and he completely ignored me...like I wasn't standing there for over 5 minutes. (which is a long time in the middle of a dinner rush) Another employee asked for help and he walked right over to him and helped him out, and then turned around and continued to ignore me. I'm so tired of him, but I really like my other boss. When Nathan (bully boss) isn't around, I have a great time working there. I love the company, and would love to continue working for them while I finish school. There are a lot of things that I've left out, just because this is already the longest question ever. I've asked for a sit down talk with both of my boss's together for this Friday. I'd really love to express my feelings, but I'm afraid that this is going to blow up in my face. I just can't take being treated this way anymore. I don't feel I've done anything to deserve this kind of treatment.

Having problems with my garden, please help!?

I had some landscaping done a three weeks ago. i had new mulch put down (pine bark mulch) and new plants azaleas and seasonal flowers. I have noticed that the flowere started to grow a couple of weeks ago but are not dying or dead. it seems as if most of the plants are not flourishing. i even had some small bushes moved from the fron to the back and some of them seem to be dying. It has rained alot so they are getting watered frequently and when it dosen't I make sure to water them every few days.
